What does this GEO checker actually test?
It fetches your page, your robots.txt and your llms.txt, and probes your site with a GPTBot user-agent. It then grades six things: whether AI crawlers are allowed (in robots.txt and at the server/firewall level), whether your content is machine-readable or hidden behind JavaScript, your structured data, how answer-ready your content is, your E-E-A-T and freshness signals, and your metadata.
Can it tell me if ChatGPT already cites my site?
No. This tool checks whether AI systems can crawl, read and cite you — your technical readiness. It doesn't query ChatGPT or Perplexity to see whether they mention you today; that requires live checks against the AI engines, which is part of a manual GEO audit.
Why would a site block AI crawlers by accident?
Two common ways. A robots.txt rule can disallow GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended or CCBot — sometimes copied from a template. And many CDNs (like Cloudflare) have a one-click "block AI bots" toggle that rejects these crawlers at the server level even when robots.txt allows them. This checker tests both.
Is it free and is anything stored?

What is llms.txt?
