One connected workflow

This checker is the last step of a connected toolkit — build a clean link, make it scannable, prove it survives, then confirm the page actually tracks.

Frequently asked questions

What does this tracking checker do?

It loads your page the way a browser would, reads the public HTML, and tells you whether the core marketing-tracking tools are installed and configured: Meta (Facebook) Pixel, Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, TikTok Pixel and Google Consent Mode. It also flags common problems like a Meta Pixel that fires twice.

Is it free? Do I need to sign up?

Yes, it's completely free and there's no account required — just paste a URL and scan. Leaving your email is optional; it only lets a Glavia strategist follow up with the specific fixes for your setup.

It says a pixel is "not found", but I know it's installed. Why?

Two common reasons. First, many tags are loaded through Google Tag Manager, so they don't appear in the raw page HTML — if GTM is present, a "not found" often just means the tag lives inside the container. Second, some sites (heavy React/Vue apps) inject tags with JavaScript after the page loads, which a server-side scan can miss. When in doubt, verify with the Meta Pixel Helper or GA DebugView browser extensions.

What is a "duplicate Meta Pixel" and why does it matter?

It means the same Pixel is initialized more than once on the page — usually because it was added both directly in the code and again through GTM or a plugin. Duplicate firing double-counts conversions, inflates your reported numbers and can make your ROAS look worse (or better) than it really is, which leads to bad budget decisions.

What is Google Consent Mode, and do I need it?

Consent Mode is Google's framework for adjusting how tags behave based on a visitor's cookie choices. In the EU and UK it's effectively required for compliant Google Ads and Analytics tracking. Version 2 (which passes the ad_user_data and ad_personalization signals) is the current standard. If you advertise to European audiences and it's missing, that's worth fixing.

Do you store the URLs I scan?

No. The scan reads your page's public HTML in real time and returns a report — we don't save the URL, the results, or any scan history. The only data we keep is your email, and only if you choose to submit it.
